To help combat the hunger issue that Denton faces, Mayor Mark Burroughs has declared April 29, 2014 the third-annual Mayor’s Day of Concern for the Hungry. To assist with his efforts, DCTA will be holding a food drive at the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival April 25-27, which will be held at Quakertown Park. If you donate one food item, you will receive one regional day pass to use at your convenience. For more information, read our press release.
